These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Salontag platform ("Service") operated by Salontag ("we", "our", or "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
By accessing or using Salontag, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, have the legal authority to enter into these Terms on behalf of yourself or your business, and agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
Salontag is a cloud-based business management platform for salons, spas, and beauty parlors. The Service includes appointment scheduling, point-of-sale (POS), inventory management, staff payroll, financial reporting, AI-powered insights, and subscription billing — all accessible via a web browser.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.
To use the Service, you must register for an account and create an ServiceProvider (your business workspace). You agree to:
You may not share your account credentials with others. Each user must have their own account. You are responsible for all users you invite to your ServiceProvider.
Salontag offers a Free plan and paid plans (Starter, Professional, Enterprise). Plan details, pricing, and limits are described on the Pricing page and may be updated from time to time with notice.
The Starter plan provides a 1 Year free trial with access to all features at no cost, allowing you to evaluate the Service before purchasing. No credit card is required for the trial.
Paid plans are billed in Indian Rupees (INR) through Razorpay on the selected billing cycle (monthly or yearly, where available). By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges to your selected payment method.
Enforced limits apply to users, customers, appointments, and invoices. Usage counters for customers, appointments, and invoices reset based on the billing cycle. User limits are seat-based and do not auto-reset each cycle.
Additional user seats and eligible usage add-ons may be available by plan. Add-on pricing and validity are shown at checkout and in your subscription settings.
We generally do not provide refunds because a 1 Year free trial is available for evaluation. Refunds are considered only for failed payments where the amount is deducted but activation fails, or for verified technical issues such as service unavailability or server downtime. We reserve the right to change our pricing at any time. We will provide at least 30 days' notice before any price change takes effect. Continued use of the Service after the price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
You may cancel your paid subscription at any time from Settings → Subscription → Cancel. Upon cancellation, your plan will revert to the Free plan at the end of the current billing period. You will not be charged for the next billing cycle. All your data is preserved after cancellation.
If you downgrade to a lower plan, your existing data that exceeds the new plan's limits will be preserved but you will not be able to create new records beyond the new limits until you upgrade again.

You retain full ownership of all data you enter into the Service ("Your Data"). We do not claim any ownership rights over Your Data. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display Your Data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
The Service, including its software, design, logos, and content (excluding Your Data), is owned by Salontag and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Service without our express written permission.
The Service integrates with third-party services including Razorpay (payments), Twilio (SMS), and OpenAI (AI insights). Your use of these integrations is subject to the respective third-party terms of service. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of third-party services.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. AI-generated insights are for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as professional financial, legal, or business advice.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SALONTAG SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE 3 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Salontag and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if required by law. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will provide you with a data export opportunity before permanent deletion, except in cases of fraud or illegal activity.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by displaying a prominent notice on the platform at least 1 year before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
